OUR LEADERSHIP

RAMTeCH’s leadership team possesses extensive expertise in a multitude of business and technology disciplines, including program development and implementation, technical and management consulting, design and development of large-scale geospatial projects, project management, managed GIS, corporate operations, technology projects, and industrial services. Additionally, the team has a strong background in business management areas such as strategic planning, process engineering, finance, marketing, and executive management of large organizations.

Manish Sanwalka – Founder and President

As the founding partner of RAMTeCH, Manish has been key in setting up the business and design of RAMTeCH’s many innovative methodologies and processes. Under his leadership, RAMTeCH has grown from small beginnings in 1992 to a leading global Geospatial and Engineering organization. His technical and analytical competence is supplemented by his ability to coordinate and manage a large and diverse workforce.

Manish is the chief visionary, innovator, and motivator for RAMTeCH. His entrepreneurial spirit, bold initiatives, and goal-oriented approach, as well as confidence in his team and his highly-innovative spirit have propelled RAMTeCH to an industry leading company. Besides work, Manish is passionate about golf and spending time with his twins.

Ashoo Vijeshwar – Corporate Vice President

Ashoo is a Senior Management and Business Development executive with more than two decades of extensive global experience. Since 1998, Ashoo has been spearheading the business development strategies for RAMTeCH. He has worked closely with Manish in successfully channeling the focus of the organization and their efforts have resulted in RAMTeCH being recognized as a key global Geospatial and Engineering services provider. He has helped RAMTeCH expand into new businesses and geographical areas.

Ashoo has been instrumental in the establishment and operations of RAMTeCH in North America and the Middle East. He is a thought leader and is always looking for the next game-changing idea. When not traveling, Ashoo likes to read and spend time with family. He plans to improve his golf game to take on Manish one of these days.

Don Fryhover – Senior Vice President

Don brings 40 years of experience in resolving complex business challenges in the geospatial and energy sectors. His strategic planning, process improvement and team building skills combined with his strong operational background with several market leading companies, makes him a tremendous asset and trusted advisor to our clients.

Prior to joining RAMTeCH, Don was the vice president of operations of the Geological Products & Solutions division at TGS-NOPEC. In this role, he directed and managed the creation of well data products and was responsible for streamlining processes and procedures to reduce data processing costs. He also co-founded Petroleum Research Company and owned a consulting practice that assisted energy clients with large data implementation projects. Additionally, Don has served in executive roles at multiple companies throughout the course of his career, including ASI Energy, Tadpole Technology Group, Analytical Surveys. Inc. and Cartotech, Inc.

Bruce McPhee – Senior Vice President, Telecom Broadband Engineering

Bruce is a recognized industry leader and  brings over 40 years of experience in transformational leadership and innovation in the Telecom Broadband market. His strong operational and sales background combined with his expert strategic planning, engineering, process implementation and team building skill set, makes him an ideal leader of RAMTeCH’s Telecom Broadband Engineering Business Unit.

Prior to joining RAMTeCH, Bruce held the position of senior vice president, Infrastructure Services Group at America Fujikura Limited (AFL) in Surrey, British Columbia. In this role, Bruce provided leadership toward the creation of the Infrastructure Services Business Unit at AFL. His responsibilities included overseeing planning, engineering, materials, material management and build, as well as project management services to ensure premises were provisioned with fiber. Prior to AFL, Bruce spent the first 24 years of his career with SBC and served in executive sales and leadership roles at Advanced Fibre Communications and NorthStar Communications Group.

Dave Disera – Vice President, Geospatial Consulting

Dave leads RAMTeCH’s Professional Services team and oversees the consulting and project delivery for Esri-based planning and implementation services.  Dave has nearly 30 years’ experience in advancing the use of geospatial and information technologies, and work management systems across utilities, and local/regional government. He has developed business strategies, geospatial/information technology plans and policies; defined users, data, applications, technology, and integration requirements; improved work practices; and managed program implementations for both public and private organizations.

In 2010, Dave was appointed to the National Geospatial Advisory Committee (NGAC) by the Secretary of the Interior. The committee provides geospatial technology advice to the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) and Secretary of the Interior in support of the President’s cabinet. In addition, Dave recently served as the Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA) Research Committee Chair. His work has focused primarily on applied research in the areas of utility and government business case justification of GIS technology, and the Geospatially Enabling Community Collaboration (GECCo) national program. The GECCo program focuses on GIS and critical infrastructure protection and interdependencies of infrastructure. This work was done in collaboration with the FGDC and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the United Nations respectively. Dave recently co-authored the book “GIS for Critical Infrastructure Protection.”
