(MDU) has selected RAMTeCH’s uConflateTM solution, the intelligent, automated GIS conflation tool designed to modernize the data management process.
The award follows the successful completion of a proof-of-concept (POC) in which MDU evaluated uConflateTM within its environment using a representative area of its gas and electric facility data. The POC was designed to assess the technology’s ability to reduce manual effort and processing time while improving the spatial accuracy and quality of GIS data.
To initiate the POC, RAMTeCH installed and configured uConflateTM within MDU’s existing GIS landscape and provided training and hypercare support. At the conclusion of the evaluation, MDU reviewed the results, assessed the technology’s performance and workflow, and identified the cost benefits that supported MDU’s decision to move forward.
RAMTeCH’s uConflateTM helps GIS teams streamline the conflation process by reducing manual editing and applying consistent conflation rules to support positional accuracy. By automating portions of a traditionally time-intensive workflow, the solution helps organizations improve efficiency while maintaining data quality.
